Freedom

The concept of freedom is quite intriguing. To me it always represented something desirable, noble, the spirit of which is to be respected and admired. The notion of freedom is something that I can never compromise, but what represented freedom has undergone quite a bit of change through my life.

Freedom represents, being able to do what you want to do. Well thats what googling will tell you, but how it manifests in me surprises me. Being a rebel always appealed to me.I enjoyed standing apart, sometimes for teh sake of it, cause quite simply I can stand apart. I dont bother to be a conformist. As a kid in school and college, it was expressed in breaking the rules.

If something is forbidden, without an rationale, I considered it a duty to break the rules. No matter how much my parents would try to discipline me, I was always difficult and naughty. This expression extended later to life as well.

I began to treat life as an entity, which exists cause I exist, cause I think about it. If it made me sad, I would imagine standing face to face with 'life' and having a conversation

"Is this what you got ? I am still standing & smiling at you, You underestimate me. I will not beg you to get me out of this situation but I promise I will never back down, no matter what you throw at me" No matter what the circumstances are, I will do what I want to do, what I believe in doing.

And sometimes during some intense moments to God aswell

"I dont know any rituals, But I have always been true, I have prayed to you without a want on my lips. I expect you to do your duty. If I am worth taking care of, you will, else you wont, I wont expect, I wont complain." But I will still carry on, still hang around.

I will do no wrong, wont be bound to anything aganst my conscience. I believe the notion of good that I have is a valid one.

ANd more or less till date I have lived like that.

But things are changing, freedom is beginning to manifest itself in a much grander scale ...

some other day ......
