Mouchette: Robert Bresson

"one of the most searing portraits of human desperation ever put on film. Faced with a dying mother, an absent, alcoholic father, and a baby brother in need of care, the teenage Mouchette seeks solace in nature and daily routine, a respite from her economic and pubescent turmoil."

Quoting Sourav's comments "'...there are these movies which give you answers. Then there is the stuff which raises questions... This one was of a higher altitude - made you think about what are the appropriate questions to be raised...'"

Life tests us in so many ways, asks too many questions, sometimes we fight sometimes we loose faith and give up.
