A disturbing yet humorous article. Disturbing in the sense, we are beginning to make everything a process, mechanical, our quest for perfection, efficiency will lead us to institutionalize more such activities. We have already reached a stage, where confining ourselves to a cubicle for 8-9 hrs five days a week is essential for our survival in this society. I have my reservations if this is a desirable trend. Cause we always take this one step further , the divide between night and day has already been blurred , with call centers operating 24 *7. we can never decide where to stop. This is just an example of the many changes happening around us where we are turning ourselves into mechanical machines.
Marriages are already being facilitated through websites, its okey as long it facilitates the flow of information, but thats it. It should be within that limit. But its not hard to imagine sometime in future, these sites, ask for a dna fingerprint, So when you are searching you are more 'aware'. Then possibly link it to your bank accounts, to check financial viability!. With the dna information an algorithm on how this person will age, how he/she will look 20 years from now. Marriages are supposed to last a life time right !.
I fear we will never be able to define our boundaries, as life gets more demanding we will always try to 'delegate' certain tasks, that will be some evolution!
