A little bit of understanding

Corporate India's biggest fraud...Raju bros arrested, finally.

Amidist all these screaming, finger pointing... I am afraid we are loosing the real story and unfortunate .. we are being unfair to a person who brought cheers to so many people.

No, I do understand the need for punishment, cause if this goes unpunished what will people think ! and its not the absolute quantum of punishment, people have to see that this bloke has been punished. Einsteins relativity theory still rules !.. Too bad after all these years, we humans, still need examples to be set, to guide our judgement, morality. Mr Raju's fate is now like, one of the self help DVDs on the rack. Peple need to pop them in... you know... it kinds of helps. That was teh ruthless .. sometimes villianous mind... if it has to be that bad... so be it !

Then it mellows down a bit and thinks, may be I dont have to be that bad... see the problem is not really Raju, so stop his witch hunt.. He gave you jobs, you aspired to work with Satyam once in your college, well I never did cause Satyam in my college had the reputation of picking only pretty faces, and I kind of took it as a personal affront. Some people would have aspired for sure. He gsave you money for your vacations, houses and wasnt it a Satyam ambulance service that I had my hopes on when I had that accident. Its a different story that it never came and I had to go by an autorickshaw ... on my own ! but still it provided hope right ?

Now we forget all that and we run with our awful war cry into the bushes to hunt him !.The probelm is more systemic in nature, shouldnt we have more stricter regulators ? transparency mandated by law? what were the other independent board of directories doing ? What was PWC doing ?

IF we can just learn to correct this systemic problems rather than carry on this high pitched morality crap, punish the guilty yes, but dont try to set an example out of Mr Raju, he has done many good things too. He made a mistake yes, but we all do dont we ?
