Slumdog won 7-8 oscars , but thats not the reason I am blogging about the oscars tonight, They won it , they probably deserve it ..whatever but for me this oscar stands out for three people. Kate Winslet, Sean Penn and AR Rehman.
Kate Winslet is probably one of the most versatile actress of our times , Titanic, Finding Neverland difficult characters in Quills, Jude and Holy Smoke , this si probably her second oscars she would ahve won one for Titanic , Then Sean Penn ..Dead man walking, I am Sam, Mystic River ...Mystic River probably stands out among all that was a Clink Eastwood movie wasnt it. and then our AR Rehman there was a time before the proliferation of cable tv when I used to buy audio cassettes cause it was Ar Rehman, before even listening to them .
