A formula if you can call it to make a sucessful movie is to just provide a mirror to people, of their ambitions, of what they are, what they want to be thats all, A REFLECTION, milk shake style. Watching Before Sunrise again , this movie appealed cause it just captured a wish , no extravagance, no wow, no out of the ordinary. But an urge , I guess with everyone to be set off on a journey with someone special and the sense that it can happen anytime, there was no build up to the meeting, it just happened, and with it the hope that it might just happen right around the next corner.
The smart ass thininking , you think u understand it, you theorize .. philosophy...a hopeless romantic and a hopeless brutal world, the reality .. struggling to break free. And then somewhere in between a bottle of red wine under the stars :).
