The Song of Sparrows

An totally broke man, a traffic signal , a kid selling some petty things, he tries to help her, cant part with all his money ,for thats all he has ... hesitates tries to get to get the change , in the meantime the signal turns green .. he 'runs' away.

Raskolnikov, totally broke meets this complete stranger in a taveran , ends up going to his place , sees their plight and parts with all that he has. He himself is hungry, hasnt paid his rent, but couldnt stand their sorrow.

Totally fictious characters but believable, one from Majid Majidis The Song of Sparrows , the other from Dostvesky's Crime and Punishment. Its not the cynicism in me, that draws me towards these characters....rather the reassured feeling that all cant be lost with our spirits, we may be quite selfish , thoughtless but there are still elements within us which are good and good in the face of all adversity, untouchable. That in itself makes our lives a worthy journey

Ohh the movie itself was awesome, Some day I should be able to buy all these movies an LCD screen a lazy boy chair ...aah thats the material side of me, whats the point of all these if inspite of them I wont be able to feel the movies like I do now, I hope I dont loose that ..
