Go Go Go !

Finished all my stuff for the weekend, now waiting for the finale to start. It might not be more thrilling than the Nadal semi finals , but once in a while you have a match like that semifinal and it just lifts everything up. The human spirit going beyond the mundane , a match that lasted more than 5 hours.

Always wondered about sports what is it , well at the amateur level its mere fun and joy but at a professional level its different and some one comes along who just lifts the game the profile of the game I mean to a new level, Sachin did it to Cricket, Schumi to F1, Armstrong to cycling and tennis ? I used to follow Tennis eralier when there used to be those rivalaries Becker-Lendel, Becker - Edberg, Steffi -Navratilova but then tennis somehow lost a champion or rather that rivalary, there was Sampras, but he was kind of alone then, he had against him Goran_Ivanišević with he serves, who in the world will ever serve like that . and Safin , but not real a rivalary these lasted a match a grand slam at max , and then there was Federrer and to challenge him now comes along Nadal. But the sad part is Federrer's era is coming to an end and Nadal rising , its not going to a last a long time and Nadal probably will have an ever increasing edge with time.
