The Japanese have a way in story telling, that is quite distinct, their movies are quiet, there is no rush and the story quite compelling. Harakiri is a nicely composed moving tale of fate, remember Anand " Jahanpana hum sab rang maanch ke katputliyan ..." Like Roshomon the plot is captivating, yesterday as I started watching this movie I was lying down and somewhere in the middle I had to get up, the movie demanded that attention... and it was 3AM in the morning . Harakiri
The Japanese have a way in story telling, that is quite distinct, their movies are quiet, there is no rush and the story quite compelling. Harakiri is a nicely composed moving tale of fate, remember Anand " Jahanpana hum sab rang maanch ke katputliyan ..." Like Roshomon the plot is captivating, yesterday as I started watching this movie I was lying down and somewhere in the middle I had to get up, the movie demanded that attention... and it was 3AM in the morning .
