Go Nuclear

Renewable source of energy , is still the focus of economies worldwide. Even though oil prices have crashed our society, with increasing complexity is becoming more energy intensive and we are well aware that conventional sources are going to run out sooner than later.

When we had the nuclear debate, its good that we had a debate , one of the arguments that used to come up is to focus on other renewable sources of energy apart from nuclear power. A recent article goes a long way in exposing cracks in that theory . Nuclear solution is right there in front of us. E = mc2 is the most energy efficient way we can produce energy . If we throw more resources at this riddle the so called show stoppers like nuclear waste management, safety , nuclear proliferation can all be addressed . Instead we seem to have such a mental block against this solution simply cause of the past events.

Our nuclear 123 agreement is so far making some progress, we have signed a deal with Areva to set up nuclear plants. This along with the fast breeder program we will have a reasonably good solution to our energy needs.
